Prevent Rape Trees
This project is an ongoing activist project to raise awareness about sexual violence occurring at the Mexican / US border. We have chosen to write statistics, facts and quotes on individual pieces of underwear. We are then hanging the underwear at various rest stops along the 5 freeway in California and documenting them. The main goal for this project is to give a voice to the victims of border violence and to illuminate the increasing violence, which is spreading further into the United States.
